Gravitational Binding v Escape Velocity
I had just
risen from my bed after eleven hours of much needed sleep. My brain is in tatters, lacking motivation. Turning on the computers
and having no insight as to how I will face this day, a thought of two words comes into my head “Escape Velocity”
I understand what escape velocity to be, but had no idea how it was calculated and began to consider the application of escape
velocity being applied to the “soul” rather than “Mass"?
If you throw an object straight up, it will rise until the negative acceleration of gravity stops it, and then returns it
to earth. Gravity's force diminishes as distance from the centre of the earth increases. However, if you can throw the
object with enough initial upward velocity so that gravity's decreasing force can never quite slow it to a complete stop,
its decreasing velocity can always be just high enough to overcome gravity's pull. The initial velocity needed to achieve
that condition is called escape velocity.
From the surface of the earth, escape velocity (ignoring air friction) is about 7 miles per second, or 25,000 miles per hour.
Given that initial speed, an object needs no additional force applied to completely escape earth's gravity. “Paul Walorski, B.A. Physics”
Escape velocity is defined to be the minimum velocity an object must have in order to escape the gravitational field of the
earth, that is, escape the earth without ever falling back. The object must have greater energy than its gravitational binding
energy to escape the earth's gravitational field.
I don’t believe science to be far enough advanced yet to formulate such thoughts or even contemplate the possibility
of a link to a power in man not yet understood by science, yet I am asking myself this very question. Science may well argue
that escape velocity cannot be applied nor is it relevant to the Soul because it has neither mass nor any physical form nor
weight. For me in my vision the soul is a power house of energy that guides
man and on his death or as some believes rises out of the human body to go to another place. It is this resurrection that
in my mind I am compelled to consider its forces and the effects gravity may have or not have on it. If this force in common
with earth physics be bound by gravitational laws it would need to have a greater energy than its gravitational binding energy
to escape the earth's gravitational field 1/2 mv2 = GMm/R or v = sqrt (2gR). A non starter you may be
thinking.
Is my
thinking madness of a deranged mind? Or is it the thinking of a mind that is not bound by Universal Laws of Physics of which
I have described in God or E=mc2 previously. I could with haste argue that due to my soul’s nature and make
up, it requires a far lower theoretical speed of 25,000 miles an hour to reach escape velocity, but I am not ready to dismiss
as irrelevant the weight of my soul which I consider to be very heavy as for its mass this may be so dense as to be un-measurable.
Density being the key, my therory is density multiplied by Infinity but at this point
I am struggling to insert infinity yet I understand it is relevent. If this be so I am compelled to consider a formular
consisting of "Density" & "Infinity" “could this be a source of energy required for its propulsion?”
I quote Professor Yasar Safkan “The object must have greater energy than its gravitational binding
energy, to escape the earth's gravitational field” That for me is a beautiful description that leaves no
doubt in one’s mind as to its meaning , without ever needing to do the maths on which it is based.
In
this area I don’t believe my thinking has even scratched the surface and may need to reflect along this line for years
to come. It is barely the start but possibly serves as an explanation for what I have previously tried to describe when making
reference to a Science not yet understood by man.
